Our first 2 cohorts are limited to just 24 seats each. We go through an application process to identify a cohort which will be diverse (background, gender, experience, geographies), for unlimited learning within the group.
A limited, but diverse group means diverse perspectives, more individual attention from teachers and a brand new network that helps you learn. We’ll be keenly looking at your application form to shortlist.
Shortlisted candidates have a 1-week window within which to pay, entry is on first-come-first basis. If all places are filled – we move you to the waitlist. Our strict policies on behaviour in the conference applies equally to the school. In a nutshell, treat people with respect and kindness. DesignUp doesn’t reject applicants, we merely shortlist a few.
Next Cohort coming in Nov 2022

What’s the time commitment per week, on the average?
The Program Timeline gives you a detailed breakdown – expect between 4-8 hours of commitment over 5 weeks (varies week to week). However your assignment time, esp for group assignments may spill over.
Will there be a lot of assignments?
Assignments will be for core modules and vary as per teacher. There may be some pre-reads, curated list of articles to read or videos to watch. And even group projects. Most assignments will require quick turnarounds – but you have 2 breaks to catch up for the longer reflective work.
What happens if I can’t attend a class?
Classes are recorded and available to watch later, for all enrolled students.
Does the Uprise program come with any job guarantee?
Uprise is for working professionals, we do not offer any jobs or job guarantees
What’s the application and selection process like?
We offer very limited seats and therefore go through a application and selection process. We are looking for working professionals with minimum 3 years of work experience. The application process is to identify a cohort which will be diverse (background, experience, geos, gender etc) and allow for learning within the group.
When do I pay for the course? What’s the waitlist?
You pay only when you’re shortlisted for the cohort. The shortlisted candidates have a limited one week window within which to pay – and in that time frame, it’s entry to the course is on first-come-first basis. If all places are filled – we move you to the waitlist.
Do you have a money back policy?
We offer a money back within the first 7 days of the course. If for some reason you do not want wish to continue – you need to let us know within the first 7 days.
What if I need to drop off a course mid way?
We do offer a money back within the first 7 days of the course. However, we understand a mid way drop off may be a difficult decision for you. We’ll try our best to help you with a re-admission, part adjustment of your fees for a future cohort. This will depend on the unique circumstances of your case.
